Selecting Panel Sizes By Phone Type

Older iPhone Models:

iPhone 6 (8MP): 3264 x 2448 px

Suitable for: Panels up to 5x7 with good clarity. Larger prints may result in pixelation.

iPhone 7 to iPhone X (12MP): 4032 x 3024 px

Suitable for: Panels up to 8x10 or 8x12 with strong results. Larger prints, such as 12x18, may see some loss of sharpness.

Newer iPhone Models:

iPhone 12 and newer: Standard models capture 12MP (4032 x 3024 px), which is excellent for prints up to 8x10 or 8x12.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro (48MP): Approximately 8064 x 6048

Suitable for: Panels up to 20x30 with excellent clarity and detail, even for larger prints.

iPhone 16 Pro (latest): With enhanced 48MP capabilities and improved sensor quality, ideal for 20x30prints and lower.

Android Models:

Older Android Models (Galaxy S7, Pixel 2): Generally capture 12MP images around 4032 x 3024 px, similar to older iPhones.
